Slavery is a stench in God’s nostrils. Sexual exploitation, or human trafficking, is the most demeaning form of slavery.
Whenever and wherever there is slavery, God directs and encourages believers to take appropriate action.
God used Moses to lead Israel out of bondage to Pharaoh.
Wilberforce was divinely directed to abolish the slave trade in the Great Britain.
Lincoln emancipated the slaves during America’s Civil War.
Churchill and Eisenhower enjoined allied forces to shut down concentration camps at the close of World War II.
Gandhi exposed unjust authority by elevating the downtrodden to equal standing.
Mandela abrogated apartheid in South Africa.
Each of these eras represents spiritual clashes between forces of good and evil.
All these events exemplify confrontations against slavery.
These are the defining days that have shaped our history.
Now, in this very hour, the conflict centers on trafficking humans.
The faith community must join together as One to overcome this peril.
God is calling us to walk worthy of the calling with which we have been called.
[Ephesians 4:1; Colossians 1:10; 1 Thessalonians 2:12; Revelation 3:4]
The Lord expects us to lead the battle against this nefarious foe – human trafficking.
This is the time of God’s trumpet call from His heavenly Mount Zion.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then,
and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. [Galatians 5:1]
